GreenPower Motor Company produces a full line of high-floor as well as low-floor all-electric heavy-duty and medium-duty vehicles. The EV Star Cab & Chassis is their most popular vehicle and it is able to be adapted to suit a variety of applications. The platform's design philosophy of clean sheets allows for optimal battery pack placement and lower center of gravity, which results in better payload to range ratios.
The EV Star REEFERX was designed for mid-to-last mile refrigerated deliveries as well as catering applications. GreenPower has partnered with Perrone Robotics in order to equip the EV Star with TONY (To navigate you) autonomous vehicle systems, which will allow fleets to transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star will also be able of wireless charging up to 75 kW.
We were allowed to test drive the EV9 on a local highway for several hours. We found it easy to drive, and comfortable to drive for long distances. The EV9 can block wind and road noise while driving along the highway. It is smooth on ruts and humps. The acceleration of the vehicle is astonishingly fast, and it comes with adjustable regenerative brakes that permit "one-pedal driving" simply by taking off the accelerator.
The EV9 has a great range and can be fully charged in about three hours at home or using any commercial charger. Drivers can select between two modes of operation: eco mode and sports mode. The eco mode is a preference for the cruise control and torque while the sport mode increases speed and handling. Both modes are fun to drive and provide an unforgettable experience for those who haven't driven an electrical vehicle before.
GreenPower offers a variety of other electric vehicles that include a multi-purpose all-electric minibus dubbed the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used as executive shuttles, transit or microtransit buses, vanpools, or paratransit vehicles.

With the Biden Administration aiming to electrify school buses nationwide, GreenPower plans on ramping production to meet demand.
